Yaz

Yaz
Yaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) is an oral contraceptive (birth control pill) which was also sold under the names Yasmin and Ocella by Bayer Healthcare, Inc. Unlike most oral contraceptives, Yaz was marketed as a drug that would treat moderate acne, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and would reduce PMS symptoms such as bloating, moodiness, and irritability.
Bayer greatly exaggerated the effectiveness of the drug while downplaying the risks associated with its use. It has been shown that women who took Yaz are at a greater risk of blood clots, strokes, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolisms, cardiac arrhythmia, cardiac arrests and heart attacks than those not taking the drug.
If you or a loved on took Yaz and experienced any of the serious medical conditions listed above, contact us today to explore your legal rights.
