Seroquel

Seroquel (quetiapine fumarate) is in a class of drugs known as atypical antipsychotics. It is manufactured by AstraZeneca, and was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 1997 for the treatment of schizophrenia. In 2004, the FDA approved it for the treatment of bipolar disorder. Despite only being approved to treat schizophrenia, AstraZeneca heavily marketed the drug as a treatment for other disorders such as ADHD, dementia, anxiety, depression and sleep disorders.

Seroquel has been linked to an increased risk of diabetes, pancreatitis, Tardive Dyskinesia, and even death. If you or a loved one has taken Seroquel and developed diabetes or pancreatitis, please contact us today to explore your legal rights.
