Heparin
From Lawyer-personal-injury
Heparin
Heparin is an injectable anticoagulant (blood thinner). It is widely used in treatment for deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism and of dialysis and heart patients. In early 2008, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a major recall of heparin due to bacterial contamination of heparin imported from China.
Reactions to the contaminated Heparin include shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, nausea and vomiting, excessive sweating, rapidly falling blood pressure and shock.
