Gardasil and Cervarix

Gardasil is manufactured by Merck, Inc., and was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 2006. Cervarix is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline, and was approved fy the Food and Drug Administration for distribution in the United States in October 2009. Both drugs are marketed as cervical cancer vaccines, which act by protecting against human papillomavirus - one of leading causes of cervical cancer. These drugs are specifically marketed towards young women and girls ages 9 - 26.

Gardasil and Cervarix have been linked to Guillain-Barre syndrome, lupus, seizures, paralysis, blood clots, brain inflamation, and even death.
